The Senators, who are 5-1 in pre-season action, have a game Thursday in Winnipeg before returning home for a Saturday game against Montreal. They open their regular season next Wednesday at Carolina, then play a home game Oct. 14 vs. Philadelphia.It already has been a terrific 2023 for the 6-foot-7 defenceman, who last week was signed to a three-year, entry-level contract by the Senators. Last Friday, he was sent down to Ottawa’s American Hockey League farm team to continue his development.
