ESKASONI, N.S. — The Eskasoni Eagles will be moving to the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey Leagues Sid Rowe divisional final to face the Antigonish AA Munro Jr.

Marcellus Francis, Sonny Kabatay and Dante Basque added single markers during Game 5 of their series at Dan K. Stevens Memorial Arena. The victory marked Eskasoni’s first playoff series win since joining the league as an expansion team for the 2017-18 season.Andre Leclair stopped 28 of 30 shots for the Eagles, while Scotians’ Brandon Connors made 31 saves.
Bulldogs’ Will Fitzsimmons scored twice, while Darren Waterman and Zachary Lorette added a goal each.
