Before 3,000 fans at Centre 200, the Eagles held period leads of 1-0 and 2-1 before scoring three unanswered third-period goals to put the game away. Overall, Cape Breton outshot Charlottetown 53-21, including period advantages of 16-4, 18-11 and 19-6.
