Nova Scotia announced it is spending $58.9 million to develop the new medical campus at cbuniversity in Sydney, N.S. including a new medical sciences building, collaborative care clinic & expansion of the Nancy Dingwall Health and Counselling Centre.
DCN-JOC News ServicesSYDNEY, N.S. — The Government of Nova Scotia has announced it is spending $58.9 million to help develop the new medical campus at Cape Breton University in Sydney, N.S.
The new medical sciences building will house educational and research space. Besides traditional disciplines, doctors will be trained in rural health needs such as aging, frailty and disease prevention as well as Indigenous health and African Nova Scotian health.
