Durham police have not been able to identify the region’s fifth homicide victim of the year, so they’re turning to the public for help.
A body was found after fire crews put out a blaze at a home on Court Street, south of the Tribute Communities Centre, on the morning of March 6.The blaze itself was initially deemed suspicious. The victim is described as a male, approximately 25-years-old, 5’11” to 6″ tall, 160 to 190 lbs. The victim’s hair was shaved at the sides with two long braids starting an inch back from his forehead. He may possibly be of south-east Asian descent and may go by the nickname of “Ox.”
