The Health Department says it’s “safe and convenient” to receive both the influenza and COVID vaccines at the same time and is recommending Nova Scotians to book them at the same appointment if possible. People are able to book appointments for their vaccines online as they become available at pharmacies and outreach clinics.high-dose influenza - available nowstandard-dose influenza vaccine - the week of October 23Those who get their vaccine from a family doctor, nurse practitioner or family practice nurse can book an appointment by calling the clinic directly. However, most primary care providers will only be offering influenza vaccines this year.
