On March 16, Edmonton Police Service constables Travis Jordan and Brett Ryan were shot and killed while responding to a family violence call at the Baywood Park apartment complex in the Inglewood neighbourhood.Their killer, 16-year-old Roman Shewchuck, then shot himself in the head and died at the scene. Shewchuk’s mother was also wounded during a struggle for the gun and hospitalized.
