A traffic stop in Escambia County today led to a 35-year-old woman being arrested on drug charges and outstanding warrants.

After pulling over a vehicle at Nine Mile and Bridlewood roads, deputies reportedly found 115 grams of methamphetamine, 31.4 grams of fentanyl, ammunition and drug paraphernalia, according to a post on the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page. Ashley Diane Carter is charged with trafficking meth and fentanyl, possession of ammunition by a convicted felon, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
