A Charlottetown councillor wants more assurance from the PC party that the overdose prevention site will not be located at 33 Belmont St.

After the March 13 meeting of council, Doiron told SaltWire Network there are 11 recommendations in the BDO Canada report that aren’t expanded on.Wayne Long, acting director of economic development, tourism and culture for the City of Charlottetown, said the city is having discussions with P.E.I. entertainer Michael Pendergast about hosting a ceilidh series this summer at the pavilion.
Pendergast said he still believes the type of show he wants to organize would be “a wonderful addition to civic pride."
