After the city declined to provide shelter during a recent cold snap, members of a local church have taken matters into their own hands by offering their venue as a reception centre and their members as volunteers during future extreme weather events.

In an interview with SaltWire Network on March 7, Henderson-Bolton said rather than complain, the elders decided to come up with a solution.
