trying to break through some of those barriers that are sometimes in theatre with elaborate costumes, the fourth wall or having things be really distant.” Instead of dressing up the show with makeup, elaborate lighting and contrived theatrics, the people behind it want to break down performers’ usual guards and introduce the possibility of weakness and failure as they push themselves.
