It’s always great to talk with Killer. What I found is he’s just as fired up and excited as everybody else. “It’s so true,” he chuckled about wishing he could get out there and help today’s stars like Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner. “Here we are 30 years later, and the dream is the same: To witness the Toronto Maple Leafs win a Stanley Cup. Back in 1993, the team came so close. If not for a missed call by referee Kerry Fraser on Wayne Gretzky high-sticking Gilmour, who knows, maybe it would have happened. Killer says he let that go a long time ago.
