“He hasn’t even seen the ice at Scotiabank Arena, let alone skated on it. All of these things are new to him.” From koshtorontosun: Maple Leafs' Matthew Knies appears to be 13th forward to start playoffs

From top to bottom with the Leafs’ four lines, we got a look at how Keefe is expected to fill out his lineup on Tuesday.

Auston Matthews will be between Michael Bunting and Mitch Marner; Ryan O’Reilly will centre the second line, with Tavares moving to the left wing and William Nylander on the right; Noel Acciari is between Alex Kerfoot and Calle Jarnkrok; and David Kampf will centre Zach Aston-Reese and Sam Lafferty. “The reality of the playoffs, a lot of attention goes to your top players, not unlike the regular season in that sense,” Keefe said. “We are set up pretty good with our third or fourth lines, guys who I can put out in different situations. The Kampf line with Lafferty and Aston-Reese may have been our best line over the last six weeks or so, certainly the last month, they have come on and scored some big goals for us.

Pairs at practice were Jake McCabe and TJ Brodie; Morgan Rielly and Luke Schenn; and Mark Giordano and Justin Holl.
