The transit agency said the new schedules are meant to accommodate essential construction and improve reliability, among other factors.

Some of the adjustments include increased weekend service on Line 1 Yonge-University. The agency is also launching a new bus route, the 184 Ancaster Park, which will run between Wilson Station and the Ancaster neighbourhood. The new service will replace the 120 Calvington route along Maniza, Powell, Ancaster and Gilley Roads and Garratt Boulevard.

In addition, the 200 Toronto Zoo seasonal service will run every 20 minutes, from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., “to better align with Toronto Zoo operating hours.” And to accommodate events in the Cherry Beach neighbourhood, the TTC’s 202 Cherry Beach will be extended into the late evening on Sundays and holidays.
