The 192nd Street overpass is also getting repairs from 4 to 8 a.m. Saturday. Three westbound lanes will be closed for the duration, with all traffic diverted to a single HOV lane until the work is complete. The Glover Road crossing work is more elaborate. On Monday, March 13, the road will close to all traffic, including pedestrians and cyclists, between University Drive south of Highway 1 and Telegraph Trail north of the highway so a new crossing can be built.Article content
Detours will be in effect. Drivers and cyclists should use 216th Street to cross Highway 1, while commercial vehicles should take the truck detour route via 232nd Street. Local transit will also be affected. CheckThe new Glover Road crossing, due for completion in 2024, will include multi-use pathways on both sides and its height clearance is being raised to improve safety on Highway 1.
