Three men from different corners of the city were charged this week in Cleveland Municipal Court with rape. Two alleged victims were minors.

CLEVELAND, Ohio – On Tuesday, police charged Isaiah Black, 32, with raping a 30-year-old woman on Monday in the Broadway – Slavic Village neighborhood.According to a request for high bond filed by a Cleveland police detective, Black used violence against the victim. Also on Tuesday, police charged Chad Carpenter, 41, alleging that he raped a 14-year-old on Sunday after providing the teen with alcohol. Carpenter lives in the city’s Jefferson neighborhood, according to court records.On Monday police charged Michael Thornton, 64, with sexually abusing a 9-year-old girl on multiple occasions. The last incident occurred in November, police allege.
