Richard Lugar, R-Ind. The rating are based on how often lawmakers sponsor legislation introduced by members of the other party.
Only Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania, Gottheimer’s Republican co-chair of the Problem Solvers Caucus, reached across the aisle to the other side more often, the report said. “I’m incredibly proud to be named the most bipartisan House Democrat,” Gottheimer said. “We aren’t in the entertainment business; we are in the get-things-done business.”
