The stabbing happened around 4:15 p.m. near Charles Street and Yonge Street on Monday.
Toronto police have identified the victim and arrested a Toronto man after Monday’s fatal stabbing at a laneway near Church-Wellesley Village.
Police allege that Roberts was involved in an altercation with the 49-year-old suspect.According to police, the suspect stabbed Roberts with a “sharp edged weapon.”The suspect is charged with first degree murder and was set to appear in court Tuesday.
