“We know we’re going to add to this position,” Caserio said. “We have one player on the roster currently. That could be the Texans, of course, but right now the team needs to aim higher. It shouldn’t operate on “a hope and a prayer” strategy.With better management in recent years, the Texans would have been in the running for a veteran free-agent quarterback to lift the team from mediocre to good. As is, they’re trying to move from wretched to mediocre.
