Sheriff's Department seeking witnesses to fatal Poway crash [Breaking]
The county Sheriff’s Department is looking for witnesses to a fatal crash that left a woman dead in Poway on Saturday.A 35-year-old driver in a Ford Ranger told deputies that he stopped at the intersection and was turning left when he struck the woman, officials said. He said he didn’t see her before the crash.
The victim was walking her dog in a crosswalk when she was struck, according to the department. She was taken to a hospital where she died.Investigators said Tuesday that they are looking for any videos that may have captured the incident. Anyone who has footage or information about the crash was asked to call sheriff’s traffic investigator Nathaniel Bier at 513-2849 or via email at [email protected].
