A carjacking suspect was arrested Tuesday after he forced his way into a woman’s vehicle and had her drive to a different location, San Jose police said.
SAN JOSE — A carjacking was reported Tuesday afternoon in which a man forced his way into a woman’s vehicle, according to authorities.
Officers responded at about 12:25 p.m. to the area of Capitol and Cropley avenues, according to San Jose Police Department social media posts.With her daughter and granddaughter also in the vehicle, she pulled into a gas station, police said. The woman asked for help from others and they alerted 911.The man is on post-release community supervision for auto theft and was booked into jail for multiple felonies, police said.
