San Diego lawyer sentenced to prison for stealing $5K worth of life insurance premium payments [Breaking]
A San Diego attorney was sentenced Wednesday to just over one year in prison for stealing more than $500,000 in life insurance premium payments and was ordered to pay restitution to the victim.
According to federal prosecutors, the victim provided Abbott with funds regularly so he could make premium payments, but the policy was terminated in 2015 for nonpayment.
