Roughriders quarterback Jake Dolegala apologized to his teammates, the organization and the fans when he met the media Monday afternoon.

Dolegala declined to discuss the specific circumstances, noting: “I’m seeking legal counsel right now and I have no comment.” The situation became public knowledge shortly before Monday’s practice, when the CFL team released a statement. Dolegala has appeared sparingly for the Roughriders this season, completing 16 of 35 passes for 154 yards, with one touchdown and two interceptions.
