He played hit after hit
After a night full of singing, dancing and laughter, I can honestly say that the Lewis Capaldi concert in Nottingham is one of the best shows I’ve ever been too. Even before Capaldi took to the stage, the crowd was going crazy for his opening act Raye.
She also shared that she had her hair done for the night by a Nottingham hairdresser. I didn’t realise how many of her songs I knew from the radio and actually already loved.The break between artists gave the audience a chance to refill their drinks and pull out their homemade signs for Capaldi. His set started with an impressive stage transition revealing the band, and then Capaldi joined them on stage to open with ‘Forget Me.
He also said: “We’re going to have fun tonight Nottingham we’re gonna have lots of fun. It’s a Friday night in Nottingham.” At one point the singer noticed a sign in the crowd asking to take a photo with him, and he incited the fan on stage for a photo. Capaldi took a selfie and signed Rebecca’s poster, who was a fan attending the concert in memory of her friend Jacob who passed away last year. It was a really wholesome moment, and Rebecca truly couldn’t have looked happier.
