The Dauphin County Prison was without air conditioning for hours over the weekend after the facility lost power.
One mother said her son who is incarcerated told her the prison has also been without hot water since Friday and some inmates aren’t receiving their medications.
He said once the issue is resolved, he wants to get a full understanding of what happened over the weekend. “If that turns out to be the case, we gonna have to understand how that fell through the cracks,” Douglas said.
