Power has been restored to Dauphin County Prison after an outage left all inmates without air conditioning on August 2.The prison released a statement on August 3 saying that power has since been restored to the facility as of 12:45 p.m. with help from a new generator that arrived the night before.
While the power was out inside the facility, inmates struggled to keep cool as authorities worked to correct the issue. CBS21's Sarah Burns spoke with Dase Whitfield-Musleh, whose brother is currently incarcerated in Dauphin County.
