Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams revealed he was worried when the Rams drafted another running back.
When the Los Angeles Rams drafted Michigan running back Blake Corum in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft, Kyren Williams wasn't exactly thrilled. In fact, Williams was initially 'worried' in regards to the team drafting Corum, who was coming off a College Football Playoff championship-winning season with the Wolverines.. "That competitive spirit in me had to get back and be like, 'Man, they're trying to help the team out.
"I'm excited for it because the type of caliber running back that is, he's going to be able to, if I'm not there, he's going to be able to do it," Williams said, via Barshop. "And so I'm excited for what he has in store and I'm excited that we're both teammates because we're both going to be able to complement each other."
Now, the Rams have added in Corum, who was one of the best running backs in college football over the last two seasons. Corum is the two-time reigning Big Ten Running Back of the Year, was the Big Ten MVP in 2022, and a two-time first-team All-American.
