Quinte curlers compete at Provincials
Three members of the Quinte Curling Club are competing at the Curl Ontario Under 21 championships in Ottawa.
Sixteen-year-old Gabe DeCastris and Carson Kay along with Nathan Kim teamed up with Skip Evan Madore of Oshawa at the Under 21 regionals in Brockville last month where they qualified for the Provincials.Gabe DeCastris attends Prince Edward Collegiate in Picton while Carson Kay is a student at St. Theresa Catholic Secondary School in Belleville.They play their first game tonight at the RA Centre in Ottawa.
The top two rinks will advance to the National Championships at the end of the month in Rouyn-Noranda Quebec.
