Cimo Mediterranean Grill has been one of of the city’s top restaurants for more than 20 years, winning multiple Citizen Reader’s Choice Awards.
The restaurant announced a temporary closure on Jan. 31, and now the restaurant’s location at 601 Victoria St. has been listed for rent by Majestic Management. “It has been a long road, and a tough decision has been made to temporarily close down Cimo Mediterranean Grill on January 31, 2023,” a Jan. 30 post of the restaurant’s social media page said. “This is due to continued lingering effects of Covid-19, as well as staffing shortages. We are looking forward to re-opening in the future to serve you the best Mediterranean food in town; stay tuned to our Facebook page for any information in the future.
