Burnaby Mayor Mike Hurley says the city is 'becoming the pickleball capital of Metro Vancouver.'
The dedicated courts join eight courts at the park shared with tennis.“Burnaby is becoming the pickleball capital of Metro Vancouver,” the mayor wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, after opening the courts.
Karen Watson, president of the Burnaby Pickleball Association, expressed her gratitude to the City of Burnaby and said the association is “thrilled” with the new courts.
