Dylan was just 18 and was found at home in his bedroom closet. He was devastated about ongoing vision problems that jeopardized his dream of being a trucker.“He was not the guy that looked upset or depressed or anything. He hid it very well,” Taylor said. Only in her late 30s, she’s gone through the grief of losing a loved one — family and friends — to suicide five times.
“There's not a day that goes by that she doesn't think of her son but she's able to get up and she's able to work. She said the pain is never gonna go away but it does get easier,” Leanne said. The night they lost him, Dylan had wanted to play board games. He seemed to be turning around.“So I sent my youngest downstairs… She went downstairs and she came back upstairs. She didn't say anything and she just looked at me. She's like ‘Mom, Dylan’s in the closet.
“I'm looking forward to planning that and getting everybody together and getting the city involved as well as much as I can,” she said.
