by Isaac EmbryThree suspects allegedly involved in an organized theft group have been labeled “most wanted” by Manheim Township Police after an operation that robbed unsuspecting grocery shoppers of nearly $20,000.Cesar Augusto Limas-Urbisagastegui Police state that on October 24, 2023, a victim’s wallet was stolen at a Wegman’s grocery store on 2000 Crossings Blvd. Authorities say that the victim’s stolen credit cards were then used to make a $1,982 purchase at an unspecified location.
Months later on March 7, 2024, officials say another wallet theft occurred at Whole Foods on 1563 Fruitville Pike. The wallet was reportedly stolen and used to make $6,150 worth of purchases. Police were able to identify the suspects using security footage that matched that of the Wegman’s footage from 2023, implicating two men and one woman caught on camera.
After another wallet robbery at a Whole Foods on April 24, 2024, authorities were able to further connect the events and suspects using more security footage provided by the store. The third victim’s stolen wallet was used to make $11,710 worth of purchases. Manheim Police report that the theft group has traveled the U.S. committing similar crimes. Anyone with information on the suspects’ whereabouts is encouraged to contact the department at 717-569-6401.
