Medical schools are ranked on affordability on a website blog directed at international students
NOSM University, formerly known as the Northern Ontario School of Medicine, has made the list of the "top 10 cheap medical schools" in Canada, according to the website NYSCInfo.
In the listing of the affordable medical school the website said international students might be drawn to the inexpensive cost of attending some schools of higher education in Canada. Other schools on the list include McMaster University in Hamilton, the University of Toronto and the University of Western Ontario.
At NOSM University, the official NOSM website has a page outlining the schedule of tuition fees for the MD program undergraduate medical education, which is roughly $24,000 per year for domestic students. International student fees are not listed on NOSM’s website.
