A £2million fund to support targeted manufacturing businesses in the Nelson area has been granted Government backing.
“The resilience and growth project is an essential component of our ambitious 10-year plan for the town and is an exciting use of the £25 million New Towns Fund that we’ve secured.” “We’re keen to hear from any Nelson manufacturing businesses that have potential projects that could be supported.” “The Nelson Town Deal is a once-in-a-generation opportunity for Nelson and our wider area and this project will help to make a big difference for a more sustainable economy.”
