Netflix has released the trailer for My Father's Dragon, its upcoming animated fantasy film, featuring the voices of Jacob Tremblay and Gaten Matarazzo.
is directed by Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Nora Twomey from a screenplay written by Meg LeFauve, based on a story she co-wrote with John Morgan. The film features the voices of Jacob Tremblay, Gaten Matarazzo, Whoopi Goldberg, Ian McShane, Golshifteh Farahani, Dianne Wiest, Yara Shahidi, Charlyne Yi, Judy Greer, Leighton Meester, Adam Brody, and more.
“Struggling to cope after a move to the city with his mother, Elmer runs away in search of Wild Island and a young dragon who waits to be rescued,” reads the synopsis. “Elmer’s adventures introduce him to ferocious beasts, a mysterious island, and the friendship of a lifetime.”
