Officers responded to a home in northwest Parker County around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday and found the 12 year old lying on the street with “what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the head” and a handgun beneath her, the release said.Investigators believe the girl shot her father before leaving the scene and shooting herself, the release said.
