In the Halifax Mooseheads' case, that starts on the back end. The Mooseheads have the best goalie and defence corps in the QMJHL and it showed Friday night at the Scotiabank Centre.
Another well-known strength for Halifax is the stacked first line, which teamed up for a nice goal by Markus Vidicek. But it also helps to get scoring from unexpected sources. Moser is the Cinderella story of the team after making the lineup as a 13th-round pick. He's performed admirably in a two-way depth role but has also managed to contribute three goals in 14 games.
Travis is well into his second decade with the Mooseheads so Quinn, 17, grew up around the Scotiabank Centre and the team. "Probably the first memory I have is from going to pre-season games when I was 10 or 11, just touring around the dressing room and looking at all the players' sticks," Quinn said."That was pretty cool to experience early on and then I went to all kinds of games here over the years."
