She plans to buy her son a house

Metro Vancouver resident Satwant Aujla was in disbelief when she saw the amount on her winning Lotto 6/49 ticket. “I put [the ticket] in my pocket and got out of there when I saw,” she recalls.

Aujla purchased the ticket at the Chevron gas station on South Fraser Way but was in the Abbotsford FreshCo grocery store when she found out she won $1 million. She took the ticket to two gas stations the next day just to make sure the figure was correct."I always wanted to buy my son a house if I won," she shares. When she shared the news with her son he was reportedly "blown away.
