BREAKING: Same-sex marriage protection bill clears key hurdle in Senate

The others who voted for it were Sens. Roy Blunt , Richard Burr , Shelley Moore Capito , Cynthia Lummis , Mitt Romney , Dan Sullivan , Joni Ernst , Todd Young and Lisa Murkowski .If the amended bill passes the Senate, it will go back to the House for another vote. If it clears both chambers, it will head to President Biden's desk.
