Nanaimo mayor said he\u0027s upset about the shooting, but not surprised
Nanaimo Mayor Leonard Krog said on Monday morning that many details about the shooting remain unclear and social media is “swirling” with gossip.
“I’m obviously very upset by it,” said Krog. “I’m just not surprised. Saddened, disappointed, frustrated, but not surprised.” “I’m hopeful that continued incidents of this nature will encourage the premier that we need secure, involuntary care,” said Krog. “This has got to stop.”
