Jesus Collazo was booked into the Dallas County jail Saturday night in connection with the slaying of 16-year-old Alexis Benitez Gonzalez.
to the 3600 block of Legendary Lane, near South Polk Street, where they found the 16-year-old shot. He was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.
Benitez had picked up a 17-year-old girl at that location, according to an arrest-warrant affidavit. Collazo then shot Benitez multiple times “after a brief greeting,” according to the affidavit.Email Address
