A man was found fatally shot outside of a home in east Oak Cliff early Saturday, Dallas police said. Officers responded to a welfare check about 12:45 a.m....
About 12:45 a.m., officers responded to a welfare check in the 1700 block of Mentor Avenue, near East Frio Drive, and found a man on the ground who was unresponsive.Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and found that the man — identified as 31-year-old Christopher Hawkins — had been shot.
