RNC responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the east end of St. John’s.
Upon locating the vehicle, officers observed a male occupant physically assaulting a female occupant. As a result, the 22-year-old male was arrested and charged with common assault. The male was held to appear in court this morning. The female did not sustain any injuries as a result.
