BREAKING: Major road shut after pedestrian hit by car with air ambulance on scene
A major road in Rochdale is shut this afternoon after a pedestrian was hit by a car.
Drivers are being warned to avoid the area this afternoon. Greater Manchester Police have been contacted for more information.Traffic source MancTraffic tweeted: "A58 Halifax Rd at Hurstead, Rochdale UPDATE: This is a pedestrian knockdown with the road CLOSED between George St and Birch Rd.
