Sure, hitters want to hit but several Jays batters — George Springer, Kevin Kiermaier and Brandon Belt to name three — definitely want to ease into action. “After the off day we’ll have a week left and we’ll ramp some guys back up before we hit the season. “A lot of timing stuff and approach stuff,” Belt said. “If I go out there and feel like I’m really seeing the ball and not guessing and stuff like that, that’s my cure that I’m ready to go.”
