Measure L will make Berkeley housing and small-business costs even less affordable.
Berkeley must remain inclusive of all, including our children — not just affluent residents and large businesses. Measure L is heavily supported by special interests, has no protection for seniors, is inefficiently financed and is simply out of scale for our city of just 124,000.The choice candidate for Pinole City Council is Debbie Long. Here’s why: Candidates Anthony Tave, Cameron Sasai and Justin Martinez were no-shows at our public debates. But Debbie was there every time.
As the son of Oakland science educators, I know the impact the zoo has on our youth as an important community learning center for students across Oakland. was asked about a tense local issue: tickets on street cleaning days. He described the areas of agreement and disagreement on both sides. His knowledge of this very local issue was quite impressive.
