East Bay Times Letters to the Editor for Oct. 26, 2022
They stand out as the best-prepared candidates for the job of mayor and City Council member for Districts 1 and 3, after interviewing all of the candidates. They have demonstrated a long-time commitment to Pleasanton and have valuable experience on local governing bodies: Nibert as a city planning commissioner, Testa as a City Council member and Brown’s two terms on the City Council and as mayor. Each has addressed critical issues that impact Pleasanton now and for the future.
First, Proposition 1 is one is unnecessary. California law already permits abortion until the fetus is viable, and allows abortion after that to save the life or health of the mother.
