Ross Komoroczky, 37, attacked the woman with the glass bottle before stamping on her. Komoroczky, from Armley, was sentenced at Leeds Crown Court earlier today . He pleaded guilty to section 18 wounding with intent offences at a hearing in January.
He has now been sentenced to four years and ten months for the offence in July 2022 at a property in Leeds. The court heard how he assaulted the woman with the bottle.Komoroczky then used the broken bottle neck to assault her, causing slashing injuries. He then stomped on her. Detective Chief Inspector Michael Cox of the Leeds District Safeguarding Unit, said: "Komoroczky has been jailed today for what was a dreadful assault with a weapon on a female victim which left her significant injuries. Given the manner of his assault the consequences could easily have been worse.
