Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was hospitalized Friday after experiencing chills and fever earlier in the day, the Supreme Court said. She is expected to leave the hospital Sunday.

The 86-year-old justice initially was evaluated at Sibley Memorial Hospital near her home in Washington, but later was transferred to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore “for further evaluation and treatment of any possible infection,” the court statement said.
