Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was admitted to the hospital Friday night after experiencing “chills and a fever.”
The 86-year-old was evaluated at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C., before being transferred to Johns Hopkins Hospital for further evaluation, according to a news release from the court.The statement says Ginsburg’s symptoms have subsided after “intravenous antibiotics and fluids” treatment. She is expected to be released from the hospital as early as Sunday.
